David Warnell

David James Warnell, 59, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, October 1st, 2013. A public memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. David James Warnell was born on July 30, 1954, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Carl Eugene and Donna Jean Chase Warnell. He was raised and educated in the Marshalltown area. David entered the United States Marine Corp in March of 1972. David made his home in Wisconsin for many years and most enjoyed riding his Harley and watching the wildlife from his home. Left to cherish his memory is his two sons from his first marriage: Benjamin and Nicholas and brothers: Brian (Roxane) Warnell of Gladbrook, Timothy (Kathy) Warnell of Elgin, Texas, Daniel Warnell of Marshalltown and Steven (Corina) Warnell of Gladbrook. He is also remembered by a large extended family that will miss him greatly. David is preceded in death by his father and step mother Carl Eugene (Beverly) Warnell and his mother and stepfather Donna Jean (Jerry) Rowe.
