David Wilsterman

David Dave Wilsterman, 83, of Marshalltown, died Monday, October 8, 2012, at his home. Graveside services for David will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. There will not be a visitation. David was born April 13, 1929 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Alva and Alice Wilsterman. David graduated from Melbourne High School in 1946. After he graduated from Melbourne, David worked at Melbourne Savings Bank before getting drafted into the Army. David served in the Korean War. On return from the war, he went to the University of Iowa and graduated with a degree in Commerce. After graduating from Iowa he worked with the IRS before he joined with Bank of America in San Francisco. David worked with Bank of America until his retirement. After retiring, David returned to Iowa where he spent his last fourteen years.David is survived by his brother, Paul (Ann) Wilsterman of Melbourne, Iowa.David was preceded in death by his parents.
