Dawn Ersland

Dawn Ersland, 60, of Clear Lake, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City.   Funeral services for Dawn will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Dawn and her family.   Dawn Ersland was born on September 14, 1958 in Iowa City to Thomas and Corinne Nydam Ersland. She had attended Pleasant Hill Academy. Dawn enjoyed horses, music and dancing and was an athlete with the Special Olympics, earning second place in the girls 50 yard dash.   Dawn is survived by two brothers and six sisters and is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tommy Jr.
