Deanna (Dee) Anderson 56, of Marshalltown, died March 17, 2011 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown.Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed to the family. Dee was married on April 16, 1994 to Mark Anderson in Marshalltown, Iowa. She had lived in Marshalltown working at Severe Trucking for 16 years and Noresco for 4 years and for Lennox for the last 10 years until retirement due to her health. Family was most important to Dee, she always enjoyed being with her children, her grandchildren and other family and friends. She also enjoyed bowling, card games and reading.Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Inez Slinker of Conrad, husband, Mark Anderson of Marshalltown, her children: Cory (Andrea) Ellis of Greenfield, Iowa, Stacey (Kurt) Stover of Conrad, Iowa and Shelbie Anderson who is serving in the United States Army, Dees grandchildren: Tanner, Hunter, Lincoln and Kalia, her siblings: Nancy (Don) Mueller of Lincoln, Iowa, Beverly (Larry) Markwitz of Marshalltown and Daryl (Georgia) Slinker of Cedar Falls, Iowa and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.Dee was preceded in death by her father, Donald Slinker, brother Dennis Slinker and her grandparents.
