Deb (Mrs. Douglas) Tschopp, 54, of the Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, died late Tuesday evening, November 18th, at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 24th, at the Iowa Veterans Home Chapel with Sister Rosemary Vaske officiating. Following services, she will be cremated with a memorial mass being celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29th, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Mansfield, Ohio. She graduated from Mansfield St. Peters High School and received her Masters Degree from Lefton College in Lefton, Ohio.Deb was united in marriage to Douglas Tschopp and soon moved to Iowa in the mid-1990s. She had previously been employed at the University of Illinois in Champaign.Left to mourn her sudden loss are her husband, Douglas of the IVH, her father Thomas (Ruth) Etzwiler of Mansfield, mother Carol King of Mansfield, brother Lyle (Mary) Etzwiler of Gaithersburg, Maryland, step sisters Michelle and Cherie and her IVH family which she loved very much.In death she has rejoined her grandparents and step-brother, David.
