Debbie Reece

Debbie (Bryant) Reece, passed away on February 26, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with a public visitation held one hour prior to the service. For condolences please visit www.Mitchellfh.com or call (641)-844-1234. Debbie was born on August 19, 1964 to the parents of Dan and Sunny (Holmquist) Bryant in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was a graduate of Marshalltown High school with the class of 1982. After high school she received an AA degree in design. Debbie was known to be a family first person. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to pack the family up for weekend camping trips. Every spring was a given that she was going to the woods to find the first, biggest, and most Morel Mushrooms. Debbie had many talents with art trumping them all. Her self satisfaction came from making art projects with her grandchildren. She enjoyed painting unique and personalized gifts for her friends and family. She also liked to play poker and bingo when she had the opportunity. Debbie was one of a kind and will be mourned by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory is her children: Theil Brown and his daughter Mariah, Amanda Brown (Jermey Williams) and their children Alayna, Maelee, Destin, Peyton, and MaKenzie, and Savanna (Brandon) Farr, and their daughters Mahala, and Destiny. Also her mother Sunny Bryant of Colo, Iowa, sister Danielle Bryant Roseland, many niece and nephews and special friend Charlie Starr. She is preceded in death by her father, Dan, sister Julie, and her grandparents Ruth Wilkening and John Holmquist and Dorothy and Julius Bryant.
