Deborah Kay Boucher, 56, of Marshalltown, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at UnityPoint Health- Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Funeral services for Deb will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 17 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family. Deborah Kay Coolbaugh was born on November 1, 1969 in Iowa City, Iowa. She was the daughter of Chet and Dianne Coolbaugh. Deb graduated from Sergeant Bluffs High School. On November 7, 1987, Deb was united in marriage to Richard “Rich” Boucher in Sioux City, Iowa. Deb had worked at JBS as a supervisor for fifteen years, and most importantly was a housewife and Mom. Deb enjoyed shopping, cooking, baking, shoes, and a nice cup of coffee. Above everything else, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
Deb is survived by her husband of 38 years- Rich. Children: Richard (Leslie) Boucher of Grundy Center and Travis Boucher of Marshalltown. Grandchildren: Destinee, Dixie, Jaymes, Daphne, Valerie and Isabelle. She is also survived by her parents: Chet and Dianne; siblings: Teresa Millman of Michigan, Deana (Rich) LaRue of Ottumwa and Phil (Jessica) Coolbaugh of Canada and mother-in-law: Vicky Boucher of Elk Point, South Dakota.
Deb is preceded in death by her son: James Boucher; grandparents: J. Dean and Letha McCulley and Oscar and Eleanor Coolbaugh along with her father-in-law: Richard Boucher.
