Debra Ellis, 61, of Liscomb, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City.

Debra Ellis was born on August 16, 1964 in Ohio. She would later move to California before making her home back in Iowa. She had previously worked at Casey’s and had done some in-home babysitting. Debra enjoyed collecting and painting rocks, taking photos of clouds, watching football and just enjoyed sitting outside. Above all else, Debra loved to be around her friends and family.

Debra is survived by her children: McKenzie, Melissa, Kim, Mark and Lisa; numerous grandchildren; siblings: Billy and Linda and her good friends: Crystal Wrieden and Robbie Foster. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister: Tammy.
