Debra Marie Hodson

Debra Hodson, 61, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on October 7, 2018, at her daughter’s house in Liscomb, Iowa. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Debra Marie Abrahams was born on November 26, 1956, in Marshalltown, Iowa; she was the daughter of Robert and Blanche “Sis” (Chase) Abrahams Rinehart. She attended school in the Marshalltown Community School District. She was united in marriage to Jessie Freland and they later divorced. She later married Robin Hodson. Debra had worked at Marshalltown Trowel and Monfort and recently retired because of her health. She loved her kids and grandkids always looking forward to anytime she could spend with them all, she also loved to shop online. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robin; children, Onawa (Jeremy) Maas, DonNella Freland (Chris), Jessie (Heather) Freland, Luke (Tessa) Freland, Devin (Danielle) Herrington and Taira Herrington; grandchildren, Robert, Breana, Samantha, Joseph, Natasha, Todd, Autumn, NeVeah, NaDeana, Alexis, Madysun, Baby Boy Freland, Jayden, Skyler, Kinnick, Crimson, Christian, Brianna, Steven, and Sebastian; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Hadlee, Aedan and Braxton; siblings, Danny Abrahams, Mike Abrahams, Donnette Valley, Bobby Abrahams, Kerry Abrahams, Max Nelson, Greg Spillman and Steve Spillman; stepmother, Gretchen (Ron) DeVilder; and her Pitbull grandson, Diesel. In death Debra rejoins her parents, Robert and Blanche; sister, Becky Madison; brothers, Mike Nelson and David Spillman; and ex-husband Jessie Freland.
