Debra Nichol

Deb Nichol, 58, of Marshalltown, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at her residence. Following cremation, memorial services for Deb will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Deb was born November 19, 1954, in Newton, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Newton and attended the Newton School System. Deb had lived the past several years of her life in Marshalltown where was employed by the Iowa Veterans Home and Walmart. Deb enjoyed taking walks, writing and listening to music. Deb is survived by her children: Suzanne Butts of Marshalltown, Tina Nichol, Tonia Nichol of Marshalltown, Chester McBride of New Mexico, Chet (Tamara) McBride of Moore, Oklahoma and Jesse Earhart of Mount Pleasant, Iowa and her eleven grandchildren. Deb was preceded in death by her parents and her son Kenny Wayne Nichol.
