Debra Lynn Roberts

Debra Lynn Roberts, 64, of Marshalltown, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Funeral services for Deb will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 21 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be directed to the family. Debra Lynn Scott was born on August 21, 1957 in Marshalltown to Leonard and Bonnie Olson Scott. Deb graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1975. On August 11, 2018, Deb was united in marriage to Kurt Roberts in Marshalltown. Deb had been employed at the Dollar Tree. She enjoyed puzzles, knitting and was an Iowa Hawkeye fan. Most importantly, Deb cherished her grandchildren and her family. Deb is survived by her husband of almost four years, Kurt. Children: Scott (Amber) Mills of Marshalltown, Elisha (Jack Tompkins) Brindle of Marshalltown, Jeffery (Erin) Mills of Spring Lake, North Carolina and step son, Joshua (Nikki) Roberts of Waterloo her step children, Kris, Lee, Trish, and John. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, siblings: Lindi (Curt) Bennett of Marshalltown, Sally (Roger) Davis of Marshalltown and Tammy Scott of Boone; sister-in-law: Lane George of Ames and her cocker spaniel, “Lady”. Deb is preceded in death by her parents; Leonard and Bonnie and husband, Bob Collins.
