Denise Curry, 44, of Marshalltown, passed away October 29, 2011 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, IA.Memorial Services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. She attended high school in the area of her birth and then later entered the Job Corp. She was blessed with the birth of her son, Samuel Curry, during this time.Denise enjoyed spending time with her sons friends, visiting her sister in Ferguson, church gatherings, pro-sports, and a good movie. She also enjoyed being Robs main help when it came to his BBQ competitions. She is survived by her son, Samuel Sam Curry of Ferguson, IA; her siblings: Linda Lin (Rob) Roberts of Ferguson, IA, Gregory Dean (Chantel) Curry of New Memphis, IL, and Marion Mark Curry of Mount Vernon, IL; and many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, LaDonna.
