Dennis W. Middleton

Dennis Middleton, 56, of Marshalltown, died Thursday, December 27th, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Des Moines. Private family graveside services will be held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery at St. Anthony. There will be no visitation. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com. Born on July 30th, 1951, in Marshalltown, he was the son of Vernon and Elizabeth Betty (Burg) Middleton. He graduated from the West Marshall High Schools Class of 1969 and was employed in construction. He served our country honorably in the United States Army stationed in Germany from 1970-1972. Dennis was an avid Iowa Hawkeye Fan. Surviving are his son, Michael and grandchildren Destinee and Jade, his father Vernon Middleton of Marshalltown, sister Ann (Joe) Lander of Marshalltown, brother David (Kari) Middleton of Polk City, as well as a niece, a nephew/great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends. In death he has rejoined his mother, Betty, grandparents, sister Kathy Lynn and a daughter Jean Marie Middleton on March 21, 1974.
