Diane Baily

In Loving Memory Diane Baily, 63, of Garwin, Iowa, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral Services for Diane will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation for Diane will be held from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home where her family will be present to greet friends. Diane Baily was born on May 12, 1949, the daughter of Ray and Maye (Bwol) Neuroth. She was raised and educated in the Marshalltown school district, graduating from Marshalltown high school. Diane worked for the Garwin Post Office, Westbrook Acres, and Iowa Home Care. Diane had a true passion for camping, reading books, cooking for her family and friends, and her greatest love was her grandchildren. Diane is survived by her children: Melinda (Matt) McElroy of Waukee; Robert (Sherri) Baily of Des Moines; and Lorie (Stephen) Claussen of Garwin; grandchildren: Dalton and Jacob Prince, Ashley and Nicole Baily, Hallie, Stephenie, and Emilie Claussen; two sisters: Barb VerSteegh and Kathy (Rick) Stammer; one brother: Rodney (Cherryl) Neuroth. She is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial fund has been established.
