Diane “Gramby” Bradley, 93, of Marshalltown, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Unity Point Hospital in Grinnell.

Funeral services for Diane will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will start prior to the service; beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Jews for Jesus. Diane Reese was born on February 14, 1931 in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of John Hurley and Hazzelle Lee (Hoover) Reese. She was united in marriage to Lee Bradley on October 27, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri. They were married until 1972. Diane will be remembered as the foundation and rock of her family. She was known for her very strong Christian Faith. Diane would be a “prayer warrior” for people, whether she knew them or not. She had a sacrificial heart and loved everyone. Diane was a “giver” and donated money and prayed for numerous charities and missions. She was a faithful servant and loved life, her family and others. Diane’s spiritual gift was mercy. She raised her children and grandchildren to also have a strong faith to continue for generations to come. Diane would say that she was “born to be a mother”. Diane previously worked as a receptionist at The Piano Man until her retirement in 1998.

Diane is survived by her children: Mark (Toni) Bradley of Kansas, Joel (Julie) Bradley of Kansas, Jonathan Bradley of Iowa and Joy (Scott) Pieri of Iowa. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty three (with one on the way) great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren arriving soon.
