Diane Marie Eash

Diane Eash, 68, of Marshalltown passed away on July 26, 2021, at Unity Point Allen Hospital in Waterloo. A visitation for Diane will be held on Thursday, July 29th at Mitchell Family Funeral Home from 5-7PM. A funeral service will be on Friday, July 30th at Mitchell Family Funeral Home at 1:00PM with burial to follow at Dobson Cemetery in Garwin. For additional information or to leave a condolence, please visit www.mitchellfh.com or call 641-844-1234.  Diane Marie (Slingluff) Eash was born on April 28, 1953, to Richard and Waneta (Hofer) Slingluff in Marshalltown, Iowa. Diane grew up around country and western music, often listening to her father’s performances with his band. Diane graduated from Marshalltown High School. On August 14, 1970, Diane was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Eash, and together Bob and Diane brought three wonderful children into the world. Diane loved taking road trips with her husband, and they often spent their time together dancing, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company with the sounds of music from the 50s and early 60s, especially Buddy Holly. Diane spent 27 years working at Meskwaki Casino as a Keno Writer and always loved coming home to her family. Those left to cherish Diane’s memory are her husband, Bob Eash; her children, Tina Eash and Kelly (Mark) Krukow; her grandchildren, Emily Eash, Ashlee Krukow, Collin Krukow, Austin Reeves, Brennon Reeves, and Cayden Reeves; her great-grandchildren, Zoey, Landon, Ava, Lyla, and one on the way; her siblings, Kenny Slingluff and Gene Slingluff; and her mother-in-law, Dolores Barker. Diane is reunited in death with her parents, Richard and Waneta; her daughter, Bobbi Reeves; and her brother, Dick Slingluff.
