Diane Lubbert

Diane Lubbert, age 67, of Marshalltown and most recently Premier Estates of Toledo, passed away Monday, April 13th, at the Iowa River Hospice Home.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 24th (PLEASE NOTE DATE) at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with visitation one-hour prior. The family encourages anyone attending the wear casual attire and Iowa Hawkeye in her honor. She will be laid to rest on the family lot in the Crystal Cemetery at Gladbrook. Memorials may be directed to her family.

Born on July 3rd, 1958, she was the daughter of Earl and Loretta (Toensfeldt) Lubbert. She graduated from the South Tama Schools and soon after worked at the Mid-Iowa Workshop. Diane also delivered papers for the Times-Republican. She was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook and enjoyed puzzles, latchwork, playing cards, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and garage sales.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Janice (Larry) Smith, Mary Millard, Linda Mills, Donald (Nancy) and Larry (Maria); several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In death, she rejoined her longtime companion, Dean Lench, her parents, siblings and a niece- Donna (Bill) Badger, Dorothy Blocker (Jimmy Memmer), Sandy (Bill) Babinat; brothers-in-law- Rex Millard and Ed Mills; sister-in-law Valerie Lubbert and niece Melissa Babinat.
