Dianne Thomas, age 74, of Marshalltown, passed away on Wednesday, January 18th, at the UnityPoint Health Marshalltown.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 25th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be one-hour prior to the services. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com.
Born on April 24th, 1948, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Donald and Maxine (Watkins) Hamiel. She resided in Marshalltown all of her life.
Dianne was married (later divorced) and to that union, two sons were born. She enjoyed the outdoors and helping others.
Amongst survivors are her son Max (Tanya) Thomas and his family, her brother Donald (Suzanne) Hamiel, two nephews Chad and Chris Hamiel, her neighbor Margarita, special friend Vicki Davis and other friends.
In death, Dianne has rejoined her parents and son, Milton Dean Thomas in 1992.
