Dietta stayed in Marshalltown and was a graduate of Marshalltown High School with the class of 1977. She enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and working on craft projects. She loved spending time as a grandmother spoiling her only granddaughter. One of the quotes she lived by and used to encourage those she loved came from a song by Doris Day: “Que será, será/Whatever will be, will be/The future's not ours to see/Que será, será.”   Dietta touched many family and friends in her short time on this Earth and will never be forgotten.  Left to cherish her memory are her children: Amy (Ryan) Stotts, and Shelly Fiscus, granddaughter Lillian, mother Janice Storjohann-Goettsch, brothers Mark Storjohann, and David Storjohann, her beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.  Dietta is preceded in death by her father Gene Storjohann, step-mother Carole Storjohann, her sister-in-law Tammy Storjohann, and also several aunts and uncles.
