Dixie Lee Corwin Osborne Lewis, 67, of Marshalltown, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Grandview Heights Nursing and Rehab Center surrounded by her family. A memorial visitation will be on Sunday, August 1, 2010, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Burial will at a future date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Dixie Lee Corwin was born January 5, 1943, to Vincent and Madeline (Dieterich) Corwin. She attended school in Marshalltown. Dixie married Leslie Osborne Jr. and they later divorced. Dixie then married Ronald Lewis Sr. on May 10, 1994, and they lived in Marshalltown. Dixie had been a waitress and bartender. She enjoyed her family get-togethers and especially her grandchildren and cooking for them. Dixie is survived by her husband Ronald; her children Tammy, Robin, Tracy, Wendy, and George; her 4 step-children; her 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, and her siblings Paulette, Ann, Sunny, Susan, Karen, Gary, and Mike. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Michael Dell, three grandchildren, one niece, and one nephew.
