Mrs. Donah Lyn Thede, 81, of Gladbrook, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Westbrook Acres Nursing Home in Gladbrook.Funeral Services will be held at 10:30, Thursday, September 23rd at Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook. Burial will be in Crystal Cemetery. Pastor Robert Doner will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 at Peace United Church of Christ. Phone: 641-844-1234.Donah Lyn Thede was born on November 21, 1928 in Laurens, Iowa. She was the daughter of Ernest and Edith (Mather) Jarvill. Donah graduated from Laurens High School and furthered her education at Buena Vista College. She taught in the Gladbrook Community School for many years. Donah married Paul Trinkle and later, Delmer Thede. Donah enjoyed crafting and playing bridge. She was a member of Eastern Star and Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook.Mrs. Thede is survived by her step-daughter, Diane (Bill) Joerger of Thousand Oaks, California, and step-son Mark (Sharon) Thede of North Fort Meyer, Florida.In death, she rejoins her husbands Paul Trinkle and Delmar Thede.
