Donna Strohm

Donna Marie Strohm (82), of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away in the care of Iowa River Hospice on June 7th, 2015. Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 12th, 2015 at St. Marys Church in Marshalltown, Iowa, at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date. Donna Marie Kudelka was born on May 10th, 1933 in Waterloo, Iowa, to Jack Kudelka and Dorothy Terry. She was raised in Waterloo and relocated to Marshalltown, Iowa, attending school at the Marshalltown High School. Through the years, Donna worked for her father at Forrest Park Ballroom and Skate Park, Piggly Wiggly, Smittys, Marshall County Home, Iowa Veterans Home as well as selling Stanley Home products. In April of 1951, Donna and Raymond Gene Strohm were united in marriage at St. Marys church in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was a member of St. Marys Church and enjoyed bingo and going to the casino. Left to cherish her memory is her: husband; Raymond Gene Strohm, daughter; Cheryl (Don) Bown, Lori (Eugene) Leckness, grandchildren; Patrick Bown, Cecelie Van Nevel, Skoky Strohm, Robby Kluck, siblings; Jack (Delores) Kudelka, Jerry Kudelka. In death, she rejoins: parents; Jack and Dorothy, children; John Frederick and Bobby Gene Strohm, Siblings; Sharon Rose Kudelka, Janice Charlton and Marylis Loffgren.
