Donna Sawyer Webster

Donna R. Sawyer-Webster, 61, of 1010 Woodbury Street, died Sunday morning, December 23rd, at the Grandview Heights Care Center while in their care, her family and the Iowa Hospice. A public visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service. Memorials may be directed to the family. Sawyer on March 5th, 1946, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Donald Ray and Helen Pauline (McCoy) Sawyer. She graduated from the LDF High Schools Class of 1964. On July 18th, 1998, she was united in marriage to Ronald A. Webster in Marshalltown. They have resided in the Des Moines and Marshalltown Communities and she was employed at the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Donna enjoyed shopping, camping, visiting on the telephone, her family and grandchildren, and believed in the best of people. She loved to play cards, had a big heart and an enthusiasm for life. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Ronald, her children Starla (Richard) Amendt, and Troy (Julie) Underhill, grandchildren Devin, Brooke and Zach Underhill and Kristen and Bobbi Amendt, her brothers Larry (Judy) Sawyer, Mike (Bonnie) Sawyer and Chuck (Vicki) Sawyer, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. In death she has rejoined her parents.
