Dora Jean Cole

Dora Jean Cole, 76, of Marshalltown, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at her home. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 12th at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home.Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Montour. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Dora and her family. Born June 13, 1931 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, she was the daughter of Edgar C. and Faye (Miller) Werner. She graduated form Oskaloosa High School and later attended IBM school and William Penn. Dora worked for Brenton Bank in the accounting department. Left to cherish her memory is her son Marc (Beth) Cole of Marshalltown, her grandchildren Debra (Mario) Moreno of Marshalltown, David Cole of Des Moines, and Donovan Cole of Marshalltown, great grandchildren, Mario Moreno, Marcus Moreno, William Moreno and Rosa Moreno all of Marshalltown, her sisters, Harriett Chambers of Marshalltown, Mary Calhoun of Idaho and her special friend, Cal Moffett. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bob and sisters, Ruth and Betty and one great grandson, Jace Moreno.
