Doris Jane Billie Huston, 83, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Grandview Heights Nursing and Rehab in Marshalltown, Iowa.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed to the family. Phone 641-844-1234.Doris Jane Hausafus was born on June 20, 1928, in Marshalltown, Iowa; she was the daughter of Elmer and Clarice (Huffaker) Hausafus. She attended school in the Marshalltown school district graduating with the class of 1946; she then attended business school. On July 29, 1950, Billie was united in marriage to Stanley Huston at her parents house at 206 Ferner Street in Marshalltown. They resided in Marshalltown their entire married life. Billie had been a member of the Mid Iowa Antique Power Association, Heartlander Camping Club, We-Wan-To-Go Camping Club, Hobby Craft Club at the Y as she was always busy crocheting, knitting, quilting, sewing and any type of craft, but she also enjoyed fishing and camping with her family.Left to cherish her memory is her husband of nearly 62 years, Stanley; her children: Richard (Cathy) Huston of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Dale (Karen) Huston of Haverhill, and Kenneth Huston of Des Moines; her grandchildren: Michelle, Jennifer, Danielle (Mike) and Chris (Amber); two great-grandchildren, Dalen and Leah; and her sister Marian Quigley of Dania, Florida.Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Clarice, a brother, Dale and a brother, Kenneth Ernest in infancy and one great granddaughter MiKayla.
