Doris Riley, 91, of State Center, died Saturday evening, January 7, at the State Center Nursing and Rehab Center.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in State Center with Pastor Joan Swander officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Hillside Cemetery at State Center. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home West Marshall Chapel. Nolta on August 11, 1920, at State Center, she was the daughter of Harold and Cordelia (Hartwig) Nolta. Doris was the twin sister of Donald and claiming together they were womb-mates. She received her education in the State Center Schools.On February 24, 1943, in Lebanon, PA, she was united in marriage to Everett Riley. They made their home in State Center since 1956. Doris treasured her family and enjoyed all types of ballgames, visiting with people and being on the go.Surviving are her sons; Doug (Julie) of State Center, Mike (Karen) of Oklahoma City, grandchildren; Stacy (Jason) Maiers of Darien, IL, Brandon Riley of Chicago, Josh (Rosemary) Riley of Elkhorn, WI and their children Kyle, J.J., Shea and Jackson; Kasey (Andrea) Riley, Kelly (Joy) Riley and their daughter Sailor and Kerry Riley all of Oklahoma City, her sisters; Marilyn (Earl) Staebler of Marshalltown and Ellen (Jim) Hutcheson of Albion, aunt Amanda Eggers of Marshalltown and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.In death she rejoined her parents, husband Everett, and twin brother Don Nolta.
