Dorothy Herold, 80, of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Per Dorothys wishes Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. She will be interred at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery alongside her husband, Walter. Those left to cherish Dorothys memory are her children: Elaine (Chris) Manthe of Madrid, Iowa, Anna Reeves of Marshalltown, Iowa and Martin (Susie) Herold of State Center, Iowa, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter, brother, Ralph (Joan) Burton Jr. of Pennsylvania, sisters-in-law Martha Martin, Ruth Herold, and brother-in-law, Leonard Herold.
