Dwayne Campbell

Dwayne Campbell, 83, of Gilman, Iowa passed away on the morning of September 24, 2023 at his home.

Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services will be held at this time. Memorials in his name may be directed to his family or can be directed to the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. Dwayne was born April 18, 1940 in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was the third of eight children born to Dale and Goldie (Foreman) Campbell. He grew up in the rural Gilman and Laurel area and attended school in Laurel. He was the father of Justin . Dwayne lived and breathed farming, he worked the land and raised many sets of livestock over the years in the Gilman area. In his free time, Dwayne enjoyed going for rides on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, going hunting, fishing, farming, and being outdoors.

He is survived by his brothers Thomas (Judy) Campbell, and Jackie Campbell; alongside numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son, Justin Campbell; his parents Dale and Goldie Campbell; and his siblings, Larry Campbell, Geral Campbell, Carol DePew, Judy Olney, Dennis Campbell and his sister-in-law Mary Campbell and Ila Campbell.
