Elaine Baxa-Fuller, 45, of Marshalltown passed away, January 1, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Phone 641-844-1234Elaine Hope Baxa was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she was the daughter of Rudy and Monte (Widner) Baxa, she was educated in the Iowa Falls School District graduating with the class of 1986. On November of 1986 she was united in marriage to John Fuller at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They later divorced. Elaine loved to camp, fish, read, and enjoyed photography, cheering for the Hawkeyes and also loved her cats.Left to cherish her memory is her son Nicholas Allen Fuller of LeGrand, her father Rudy of LeGrand, her siblings; Michael Baxa of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Donald Baxa of LeGrand, Connie(Greg) Allspach of Parkersburg, Iowa, Julie (Thad) Davidson, of Elkhart, Iowa, her ex-sister-in-law Brenda Burke of Omaha and her ex-husband John.Elaine was preceded in death by her mother Monte Baxa.
