Eleanor M. Schriber, 87, of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa, died on Monday, April 25, 2011.Services will be held at a later date. For Condolences please visit www.mitchellfh.com. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Eleanor and her Family. Phone 641-844-1234.Eleanor M. Schafer was born on January 13, 1924 to Gottlieb and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Schafer. She attended school in West Bend graduating from the High School there. Eleanor married Cecil Schriber on July 19, 1985 in Sioux Falls South Dakota; they had lived in West Bend until moving to the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Eleanor had managed Maberrys Drive in in West Bend for over 20 years. She had been a member of the American Legion and The Lutheran Church in West Bend. Eleanor will be remembered for her collections of many things.Left to Cherish her memory is her husband; Cecil Schriber of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, daughter; Rose Hough, grandchildren; Dennis Maberry, Eric Maberry and Chad Orner and great-grandchildren; Emily Ann, Baily, Caroline and Hannah Maberry.In death she rejoins her first husband George and son Randy Maberry.
