Elizabeth Liz Tiller, 68, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames, Iowa, with her loving family by her side. Memorial services for Liz will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the Lamoille Congregational Church with Pastor Jean Bower officiating. Public visitation will be held one hour prior to services, where Lizs family will be present to greet friends. Memorial contributions may be directed in Lizs name to her family. Elizabeth Heim was born on May 10, 1947, in Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Omer and Florence (Stager) Heim. She was raised and educated in the Parkersburg school district graduating from Parkersburg High School with the class of 1966. On May 31, 1966, Liz was united in marriage to the love of her life Steve Tiller. Liz was a hard working homemaker, always making sure the house was clean and the food was on the table for her family. She enjoyed being a member in many bowling leagues. Liz had a passion for bowling, reading, ceramics, cross stitching but most of all was her family, especially her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Steve Tiller; son: Chad(Jessica) Tiller; grandchildren: Aurora Tiller and Rainn Tiller; father: Omer Heim; three sisters: Judy (Jim) Miller, Pat(David) Waege and Jean (Danny) Bradley. She is preceded in death by her mother, Florence Heim.
