Ella Jane Ebbie Perry, 84, of Marshalltown, died Thursday, November 12, 2009, at her home while in the care of her loving family and Iowa River Hospice.Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2009, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Shomo officiating. She was the daughter of Charles McCord and Vera (Van Luven) Park. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs. On December 29, 1943, Ebbie married Kenneth Perry in Papillion, Nebraska. The couple lived in Council Bluffs, Des Moines, and then moved to Marshalltown in 1961. Ebbie was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed reading Harlequin romance novels, doing crossword puzzles, and flowers.Ebbie will be missed by her husband, Kenneth, of Marshalltown; her four children, Jane Ann (Hugh) Dougall of Marshalltown, Michael (Talona) Perry of Marshalltown, Paula (Dayle) Aune of Eagan, Minnesota, and Roger Perry of Marshalltown; her 11 grandchildren, Lisa (fianc Che Hanson) Pille of Clarion, IA, Steven Dougall of Fort Dodge, IA, Amy (David) Seibert of Little Canada, MN, Brian (Lisa Marie) Dougall of Marshalltown, Kimberly (fianc Bill Young) Reuter of Farmington, MN, Carrie Hogan of Farmington, MN, Jason Perry of Iowa City, Nicholas (fianc Nicole OBrien) Aune of St. Paul, MN, Michael (Sara) Perry of Marshalltown, Danielle Perry of Des Moines, and Kailyn Perry of Des Moines; her 17 great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob (Jerreise), Isaac, Rachel, Seth, Isabel, Joshua, Mason, Eric, Connor, Sam, Madison, Kayden, Miley, Jordan, Caleb, and Alexis; her sister, Helen Hannon of California, her sister-in-law, Juanita Park of Phoenix, AZ, her brother-in-law, Ed Lockwood of Los Angeles, CA, her aunt, Helen Carey of Council Bluffs, and several cousins.In death, she has rejoined her parents, her sister, Betty Lockwood, her brothers, Harold Park and Charles Park Jr., her brother-in-law Dick Hannon; and her great-grandson, Nathan Pille.
