Elsie L. Carver, 95, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Villa Del Sol with her family by her side. Memorial services for Elsie will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jean Bower officiating. Brundis was born on July 27, 1918, in Lake City, Minnesota, the daughter of Gohlieb Brundis and Elizabeth Whilimina Marie Graborv. She attended nursing school and received her education in the business management department. Elsie was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles of Tama and the Garden Club in Tama. She had a passion for quilting, jig saw puzzles, crossword puzzles, loved the outdoors, wildlife, watching birds from her window, crafts, and gardening.
