Emily Williams

Emily Williams, 46, of Carroll, Iowa and formerly of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on May 20, 2024 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Services for Emily will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 beginning at 1:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Memorials in Emily’s name may be directed to her family for a later designation. Emily Allison Williams was born November 19, 1977 in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was the youngest of two children born to Clayton and Ann (Worley) Williams. Emily grew up in Marshalltown, Iowa and attended school through the Marshalltown School District. She was a graduate of Marshalltown High School in the Class of 1996. Emily furthered her education at Marshalltown Community College where she achieved her two-year degree.

Emily received her CNA and enjoyed caring for residents at the Iowa Veterans Home and other nursing homes over the years. She enjoyed family time with all of her relatives.

She is survived by her parents, Clayton and Ann Williams; her brother, Eric Williams; her nieces and nephew and several aunts, uncles, and cousins also her friends, Barbara Goodman and MaryAnne Berger where she lived in Carroll, Iowa.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Rachel Williams and George and Sue Worley.
