Eric Lingard

Eric Anthony Hunter Lingard, 15, of Marshalltown, died Saturday, January 10, 2009. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home has been caring for Eric and his family. Ph 641-844-1234. Eric was born on October 19, 1993, in Ames, Iowa. He was the son of Kevin and Jan (Eberhardt) Lingard. Eric was a freshman at Marshalltown High School. He loved skateboarding, music, lifting weights, and people. Friends meant everything to Eric; he would talk to them for hours. Eric had the ability to make people laugh and he was a joy to all who knew him. Eric was a GREAT KID and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Kevin and Jan; his brothers, Kevin (Bub) and Ian; and his dogs, Willie and Daisy. He also leaves behind a grandfather, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and treasured friends who he loved very much. In death, he has rejoined his grandparents, Sandra Eberhardt, Evelyn and Marial Lingard, and his uncle, Keith Lingard.
