Erin Ruth Weers, 40, passed away from an automobile accident on September 3, 2019. Following Erin’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no public services through the funeral home.  The family has arranged to have a celebration of Erin’s life at Vaughn’s Pub in Marshalltown, Iowa on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., where friends can gather and share stories and memories of Erin. There will be a second celebration of Erin’s life at the American Tap in Webster City, Iowa on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m..  Memorial contributions may be directed in Erin’s name to her family.  For further information or to send a condolence, please visit www.mitchellfh.com or call (641) 844-1234.  Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Erin and her family. Erin Ruth Weers was born on June 27, 1979 the daughter of William Weers and Holly (Buckley) Hayes.  She was raised and educated in the Webster City school district.  Those who had the privilege to meet Erin would say she was a ray of sunshine.  She was incredibly kind and caring.  Erin had a renowned sense of humor, lived freely and loved fiercely.  She accumulated many friends along the way.  She suffered many hardships, but remained a benevolent soul throughout.  She was loved and will be missed deeply by many. Left to cherish Erin’s memory are her children: Teryn, Kyra, Mariyah and Morgan; brother: Tyler (Krystle) Weers; mother: Holly Hayes; companion: Matthew Blink; niece: Aubrey; nephew: Deryk; several Aunts as well as countless friends whose lives she touched. She is preceded in death by her father: Willliam Weers and Step-father: Bryan Hayes.
