Phone 641-844-1234.Ernest Charles Simon was born on June 25, 1951, in Los Angeles, California. He was the son of John and June (Mathis) Simon. He went to school in Twin River/ Bode High School in Humboldt County in 1969. Ernest went on to further his education in Criminal Justice and Phycology. He had been a deputy Sherriff in Eagle County, Colorado and on the police department in Humboldt, Iowa. Ernest enjoyed writing, loved the outdoors and fishing and also had a love for the southwest.Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Lani Simon of Colorado, grandson Devon, and a brother John.In death Ernest rejoins his brother Larry.
