They operated the Norlin Monuments from October 1947 until dads death on April 16, 1986. Mom was a blessing to all who crossed her path. Dad would tell clients Dont worry if I am not at the office because my wife is there and she knows as much as me., Mom then ran the business for almost five years with their only child Lana. She then sold the business to McCall Monuments. Mother was a wonderful judge of character and always knew the right thing to say. Esther loved the Lord and talked to Him every day and she loved her daughter more than anything in this world. She was the best mother any daughter could hope to have. One of Esthers favorite things to do was to have a play day with her daughter and they would go shopping. Esther is survived by her daughter Lana, one brother-in-law Kenneth and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Stan, her parents and her only brother Charles Hayden Jr., in 1969, her brothers and sisters-in-law Ted and Betty Norlin, Dan and Dorothy Hoffman, and Homer and Gloria Levis.
