Feliciano Yzquierdo

Feliciano Yzquierdo, 61, of Marshalltown, Iowa and formerly of Eagle Pass, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines with his family at his side. Care for Feliciano and his family have been entrusted to Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Feliciano Yzquierdo was born June 9, 1959 to parents Ramon and Concepcion Yzquierdo in Eagle Pass, Texas. He was one of eight children born to the family. He attended school in the town which he grew up in and graduated from Eagle Pass High School as part of the class of 1980. In November of 1989, Feliciano was united in marriage to the love of his life Leticia Amaya in Eagle Pass, Texas. The two moved to Marshalltown, Iowa and began a family of their own raising two children together. Feliciano was a big family man and worked for Swift for a period of time before working for the Iowa Premium. He and his family were members of St. Francis Of Assisi Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Marshalltown. In his free time, he loved cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and watching other sports, tinkering with cars and working through their mechanics and most importantly spending time with his family. Left to remember and cherish his memory are his wife, Leticia Yzquierdo; his children, Rebecca and Jose Yzquierdo; his siblings: Ramon (Gracie) Yzquierdo, Lupe (Oscar) Mendez, Marta (Arturo) Martinez, Letty Yzquierdo, Linda Yzquierdo and Diana Garza and numerous nieces and nephews. Feliciano was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Concepcion Yzquierdo and his sister, Gloria Garza.
