Floyd E. Case, 82, of Conrad, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad. Memorial services will be (held by the family) of Floyd at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church of Albion, Iowa, with Pastor Charles Flick officiating. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Floyd and his family. Floyd E. Case was born on September 23, 1936 at the family home in Liscomb, he was the son of Raymond and Mable (Moorman) Case. He was raised and educated in the Liscomb School District where we graduated from High School. Following graduation, Floyd honorably served his country by enlisting in the United States Army from 1959 until 1961 during the Korean War. On August 20, 1962, Floyd was united in marriage to Genevieve Wardman in Ashton, Illinois. Floyd was employed as a pilot mounter for Fisher Controls. He was a proud member of the Albion Presbyterian Church. Floyd had a passion for fishing, bowling, playing pool and loved to winter down in McAllen, Texas. Floyd is survived by his children: Roberta “Bobbie” (Alan) Savage of Marshalltown and Duane (Dena) Farland of Papillion, Nebraska as well as six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Floyd is preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve, parents Raymond and Mable, brothers: Calvin, Bernard, Donald, Mainard, Marvin, Larry and Clifford Case and sister Lena Whitmore.
