Floyd Woods

Floyd M. Woods, age 56, of Marshalltown, died suddenly on Sunday morning, November 20th, at the Unitypoint Health Marshalltown.

Born on May 2nd, 1966, in Ames, Iowa, he was the eldest child born to Floyd and Donita (Gabrielsen) Woods. He received his education in the Marshalltown Community School and graduated from MHS in 1985.

Left to cherish his memory is his father, Floyd, Sr. of Marshalltown, his brothers: Gordon (Candice) Woods of Ankeny, James Woods of Marshalltown and Shawn (Jill) Woods of Melbourne; his grandfather John Mutchmor of Chestnut Hills, Mass., aunts and uncles: Cora Simmons of Parkville, MO, Judy (Don) Westphal of Marshalltown, Mary Hannam of Ottumwa, Peggy Woods of Marshalltown, Charles Woods of Marshalltown, Anne (Andrei) Bourdine of Chestnut Hills, Mass, Jilene (Dave) Christensen of Stillwater, MN, and many nieces and nephews.

In death, Floyd rejoined his mom, Donita, who passed away October 6th, and his grandparents.
