Francis R. Childs

Francis R. Childs, 68, formerly of Manchester, died January 9, 2008. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Ph. 641-844-1234 Francis was born August 30, 1939, in Delaware County to Ross W. and Laura Childs. He was raised and farmed most of his life in Delaware County. He enjoyed tractor pulling and snowmobile racing. Francis operated a Polaris snowmobile business for twenty plus years. He is survived by four children: Kirk (Carolynn) Childs of St. Anthony, IA, Kelly Childs of Manchester, Samuel Childs of Manchester, and Hannah Childs of Marion. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Emily Childs of Brighton, Colorado, Justin and Dylan Childs of St. Anthony.
