Frank Biehn, 86, of Boone, Iowa, formerly of Marshalltown, entered heaven on Thursday, August 19th, 2021, at Israel Hospice House of Ames. Funeral services for Frank will be held on Saturday, August 28th with a visitation from 1-2pm and a service to follow at 2pm. Funeral services will take place at New Hope Christian Church, 3901 S Center Street, Marshalltown, Iowa. Frank will be laid to rest following the services at Riverside Cemetery with full military honors presented by the Marshalltown Combined American Legion/VFW. Frank graduated high school from his hometown, and he joined the armed forces shortly after. Frank honorably served the United States in the Army, National Guard, and the Reserves. Through mutual friends, Frank met the love of his life, Patricia Carter. Frank and Pat were united in marriage on November 25th, 1959, in Newton, Iowa, and together they raised three incredible children. Frank worked at Fisher Controls for over 30 years. When he was at home, he loved woodcarving, painting, and fishing. Frank also loved spending time with his family and grandkids. Those left to cherish Frank’s memory are his beloved wife, Patricia (Carter) Biehn; his children, Edward “Ed” (Eileen) Biehn, Pamela Catron, and Jeffery Biehn; his grandchildren, Staci (Greg), Shannon, Douglas (Tabbitha), Joshua, Jessica, Zackery (Elisha), and Emily; his 22 great-grandchildren; his brother, Tom Biehn; and his dog, Precious. Frank is reunited in death with his parents, Darrell and Laura; three of his brothers, Floyd, Ivan, and Ernest Biehn; and his daughter-in-law, Teresa.
