Frank Edwinson

Frank James Edwinson, 63, of Marshalltown died Wednesday September 16th, 2009 at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center, with his loving family by his side. There will be no visitation. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Frank and his family, phone 641-844-1234. Frank was born on May 10th, 1946 in Marshalltown to parents Donald and Juanita (Wood) Edwinson. He attended LDF, graduating in 1964. Frank then served his country honorably in the United States Navy for four years. On October 18th, 1969, Frank was united in marriage to Judy Fischer in Glasgow, MT. The couple made their home in Marshalltown, where they raised their two children. Frank worked at Fisher Controls for 37 years, retiring in 2001. Frank enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and being in the outdoors. He was a member of the VFW, U.A.W., Elks Lodge, and Ducks Unlimited. Frank will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Left to celebrate Franks life is his loving wife Judy, his son Neal (Jennifer) Edwinson of Bartlesville, OK; his daughter Lori Fricke of Albion; his grandchildren Madison, Hannah, Cole, Bailey, and Jordyn; his sister Linda Ferguson; his brother John Edwinson; as well as many friends. In death, Frank has rejoined his grandparents, parents, his brother Mike Edwinson, and his dog and companion Bud E.
