Fred William Ingraham was born May 22, 1955 in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was the second of four children born to Gene and Ruth (Wirth) Ingraham. On March 6, 1985, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Jackie Clark (Muehlhausen) at a ceremony in Hawaii. From their union, Fred gained a daughter, Heather. Fred worked briefly at Hoskins Harley Davidson in Marshalltown before he and Jackie opened F & J Racing in Marshalltown. They poured their heart and soul into working on motorcycles.
