Staff Sargent E7 Gary J. Johnston (Ret), 52, of Shell Rock, formerly of Marshalltown, died on March 11, 2008, at Chandler Regional Hospital in Chandler, AZ. A memorial service honoring Gary's life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
