Geneva Young

Geneva Young, 65, of Marshalltown, died Thursday, February 21, 2008, at the Villa del Sol while under the care of Iowa Hospice. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the E-Free Church. Burial will be held in Fort Dodge. She attended the Fort Dodge Schools and graduated from Fort Dodge High School. Geneva spent her working career as a medical transcriptionist, first at Trinity Regional Hospital and then finishing her career at Marshalltown Hospital. Geneva was devoted to her faith and her church. She loved her family and enjoyed music. Left to celebrate her life are her brothers: Leroyand Virgil Young; her sister, Carol Young; as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. In death she has rejoined her parents, and brother, Kenneth.
