George H. Kerns

George H. Kern, a resident of Marshalltown for the last six years, passed away on March 13, 2008. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Emporia in 1969. He was a veteran, having served in the Navy Reserves. George had many interests including antique cars, interior decorating, gardening and he was a wonderful dancer. He was loved very much and will be missed by his brothers: Phillip (Jeannie) Kern of Fairfield, IA, David Kern of Harrisonville, MO; sisters: Kay (Tom) Chapman of Harrisonville, MO, Jane (Pete) Sixbey of Des Moines, IA; as well as six nieces, two nephews, two great-nephews and two great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
