Gerhardt Leffler, 62, of Marshalltown, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Memorial services for Gerhardt will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Iowa Veterans Home Chapel in Marshalltown. Gerhardt Leffler was born on August 13, 1952 to Raymond and Ruth Fredrickson Leffler in Munich, Germany. Gerhardt later moved to America and attended Everett High School in Maryville, Tennessee. Gerhardt joined the United States Air Force in 1971. Gerhardt loved computers, searching out for graves and feeding his squirrels. Gerhardt is survived by his many friends and family members at the Iowa Veterans Home.
