Ginger Noel Carter

Ginger Noel Carter, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 10, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15, at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Marshalltown at 10:30. A public visitation will be held on Thursday starting at 5 until 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil service to follow at Saint Mary's Catholic Church. Ginger was born on December 22, 1979 to the parents of Jerry Carter and Janet Schoenfelder in Marshalltown, Iowa. Ginger graduated with the class of 1998 from Marshalltown High School. After high school Ginger attended the Iowa School of Beauty and graduated with in 2003. She put her degree to good use and was a fantastic hair stylist. She had the perfect personality for her line of work, people were naturally drawn to her. She was a social butterfly, having never met a stranger and would always have a way of making everyone smile. She was a furious protector of who she loved and she was loved just as furiously. She was a fantastic mother that would do anything for her children. Ginger’s memory will carry on in those that had the privilege to know her and call her a friend. Left to mourn Ginger’s untimely passing is her children, Autumn Newton, Ashton Hinkle, Jaxson Hinkle, and Colton Miller. Her siblings Corey Schoenfelder, Brandy McOmber, Adrian Carter, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her parents Jerry Carter and Janet Schoenfelder, and her children’s fathers, Brandon Newton, Jordan Hinkle, and Bryan Miller. She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, aunt Judy Schoenfelder, and nephew Carter McOmber.
